Terms and conditions

[Company legal name] W.L.L., registered in Qatar, operates the GetWudd apps and website. By using GetWudd, you agree to these terms.

1. Account use

You must be 18 or older to use GetWudd. You sign in with your mobile number and are responsible for keeping your account secure.

2. Buying a gift

Each gift is a specific service from a GetWudd partner in Qatar. Prices are in QAR, and the price at checkout is the total you pay. Payments are processed by our licensed payment provider.

3. Sending a gift

You can send a gift now or schedule it up to 30 days ahead, and change the date of a scheduled gift until it is sent. You cannot send a gift to your own number. The recipient receives it by WhatsApp at the number you enter, so please check it carefully.

4. Redemption

The recipient signs in with the same number and shows the gift code at the partner. Each gift is used once, in one visit, and a redemption is final once recorded. Bookings are made directly with the partner.

5. Expiry

Gifts are valid for 3 months from delivery, and the expiry date is shown on the gift. We send reminders before expiry. Expired gifts cannot be used or refunded.

6. No cancellations or refunds

All gift purchases are final. Once paid, a gift cannot be cancelled or refunded, whether or not the recipient uses it. This does not affect your mandatory rights under Qatari law.

7. Partner responsibilities

Partners must honour every valid gift at the same standard and price as their other customers. GetWudd is not liable for a partner's service but will help resolve any issue.

8. Prohibited use

You may not resell gifts, misuse gift codes, create fake accounts, copy or reverse engineer the app, or use GetWudd for anything unlawful.

9. App licence

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the GetWudd app. The app and the GetWudd brand belong to us. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app.

10. Suspension and account deletion

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time in the app or through our Account Deletion page; it is deleted 30 days after you ask. Gifts you have received but not used are forfeited, while gifts you have sent stay valid.

11. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the gift concerned. We are not liable for indirect losses, except where Qatari law does not allow this limit.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and disputes fall under the Qatari courts. If the Arabic and English versions differ, the Arabic version applies.

13. Changes

We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes in the app. Gifts already bought stay under the terms in place when you bought them.
